Project Manager – Insight Global
Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site with 20% travel to school sites)
Employment Type: 6-month Contract
Pay Range: $45–$50/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Standard business hours, Monday–Friday
About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead technology infrastructure upgrade projects across a large school district environment. This role involves managing installations of low‑voltage systems, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of projects that enhance safety and connectivity for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle for network infrastructure upgrades, including design, installation, quality assurance, and closeout.
Oversee installation of LAN, WLAN, VoIP, Camera Systems, Physical Intrusion Systems, and related components.
Develop and maintain project schedules, deliverables, and documentation.
Track progress, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with other PMs, IT teams, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
Travel to school sites approximately 20% of the time (flexibility required).
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years
of project management experience in technology infrastructure projects.
Hands‑on experience managing installation of low‑voltage systems (LAN, WLAN, VoIP, Camera Systems, Physical Intrusion).
Strong knowledge of project scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
Proficiency with
SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, and Adobe .
Excellent adaptability, collaboration, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
Experience working in
large K‑12 school districts, colleges/universities, or government environments .
Familiarity with LAN platforms such as
HP/Aruba, Alcatel, and Cisco .
