Deputy Program Manager
for a Full-Time position.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Deputy Program Manager experienced with Infrastructure & Cloud to manage large, complex enterprise IT implementations.
The ideal candidate has experience in (Azure & AWS) Cloud project delivery, as well as using standard PMBOK methodologies for other IT projects. The candidate should be customer focused and be able to demonstrate leadership for all activities associated with the successful delivery of multiple technology-oriented projects on an enterprise scale.
The Senior Project Manager/Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Enterprise Operations Manager, Integrations Team Lead, and the BSEE Program Manager. As the Deputy Program Manager, you will also interface closely with the corporate office and NuAxis executives.
Responsibilities include the following tasks:
Oversee all aspects of multiple complex cloud and infrastructure projects including scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and reporting
Interact with client leadership and technical teams to define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined processes, policies, and procedures
Demonstrate prior experience with project management and delivery management support for engagements covering infrastructure, network connectivity, identity, encryption, and cloud migration
Manage resource plan and identify resource risks
Manage schedules for multiple projects, engage customers, track, and resolve issues with strong levels of customer satisfaction
Provide leadership guidance and direction to personnel to ensure proper, timely completion of work
Communicate project status, project risks to team, management, and customers as appropriate
Cultivate effective working relationships with stakeholders to maximize productivity and customer service delivery.
Anticipate problems or situations that could affect project success. Assess potential impact to the project and develop and execute the best solution. Manage escalated situations, as needed
Participate in Business Development activities to include capture, proposal writing and providing past performance metrics
Create and present Program level status to corporate executives monthly
Act as liaison between NuAxis employees and corporate office
Support the Program Manager with program specific special projects and initiatives as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
Clearance Requirement: Public Trust
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in leading and accomplishing various IT projects
Be able to demonstrate 4 years of leadership and relationship management experience while supporting large, complex projects.
Experience working with Cloud technologies and managing Cloud projects
Demonstrated experience delivering Cloud/IT projects supporting FedRAMP, FISMA, DoD RMF compliance
Demonstrated experience working with large scale systems for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites
Demonstrated managerial experience leading employees supporting IT services
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively communicate with senior level management
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Self-motivated; ability to maintain excellence with minimum supervision.
Well versed in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools
