Biddeford and Dayton Schools & Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative are seeking:

Business Manager . Starting ASAP. This Business Manager serves three organizations: Biddeford and Dayton Schools & Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative. Reports to: Superintendent. Supervises: Business Office Staff. Responsibilities

Assumes responsibilities for an accounting procedure adequate to record in detail all financial transactions and works closely and cooperatively with independent auditors and supplies copies of the audit to the Department of Education. Supervises the collection, safekeeping, and distribution of all funds. Attends meetings of the school Finance Committee and submits a monthly financial statement to the School Committee detailing the status of each appropriate item. Compiles necessary statistical data for the preparation of the fiscal budget, acts as adviser to the superintendent on the school budget, long-range planning, and all other business and financial questions. Prepares financial reports as required by state and federal agencies having jurisdiction over public school funds and is responsible for disbursement of school district funds in accordance with state laws and budget authority. Qualifications

3 years experience in education, business management, or accounting and 1 year in a supervisory capacity with expertise in accounting procedures. Criminal History Records Check by the Maine Dept of Education. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, business management, or accounting. Education
