What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be: Handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. Providing information for recording the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies. Operating motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. Providing guidance to lower level material handlers. Following detailed and defined rules/instructions and making simple judgments in straightforward situations.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in your own discipline. Have knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. Have the ability to operate material handling equipment. Are able to follow established guidelines and procedures. Are detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
