Base pay range $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Produce Team Member As a member of the
Produce
team, our team members must take pride in having a vast knowledge of our produce items. They will deliver exceptional guest service, be responsible for display items for the department, monitor waste, and be a strong team player.
Responsibilities & Duties
Help department to maximize sales by providing exceptional guest service.
Ability to increase sales by suggestively selling products to every guest.
Unload products from truck, break down pallets, take in deliveries, and separate produce for sales floor and cooler.
Process and/or wrap produce items prior to filling displays.
Responsible for product rotation, facing, restocking, culling, product displays.
Adhere to all DOH, DOA and OSHA standards. Handle chemicals (spectrum veggie wash and sanitize solution).
Follow, maintain and perform safety and sanitation procedures throughout all shifts.
Communicate effectively with peers and management.
Always maintain professionalism and treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
Must always be guest focus and forward facing.
Adhere to all assigned duties by management team.
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year with food handling, guest service and sales experience.
Exceptional guest service, organization, and merchandising skills.
Ability to retain product knowledge.
Ability to act with a sense of urgency and remain productive in a fast‑paced environment.
Must possess problem solving skills.
Empowered team player willing to assist fellow associates.
Additional Requirements
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed, and in the correct uniform.
The associate is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 20–75 pounds.
The position requires manual dexterity, visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Ability to work within temperature‑controlled environments.
Handling and controlling cleaning supplies.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by following Citarella and DOA standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Other duties may be assigned as business needs change.
