What to Expect The successful Equipment Maintenance Technician candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to perform daily tasks required to ensure the operational availability of assembly equipment. They must be dedicated to performing troubleshooting skills on Automotive manufacturing equipment. They must also be dedicated to the daily tasks/TPM/PM and follow up actions required. Moreover, they must be dedicated to conducting the routine actions and documenting any/all abnormalities. They will be integral to driving equipment OEE improvements to meet the production requirements.

What You'll Do

Lead theday to day equipment TPM/PM activities to ensure operational availability including but not limited to responses to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime

Oversee analysis and adjustment of maintenance practices and procedures and preventative maintenance schedules

Lead continuous improvement processes to improve machine uptime and reduce machine breakdowns

Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quality issues

Create, modify, and implement PM documents and schedules, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor

Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds (some weekends and holidays required)

Design, fabricate, implement, and fully document equipment improvements and modifications

What You'll Bring

2+ years of extensive experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation or equivalent

They will have skills in industrial maintenance encompassing the following areas: Electrical, PLC, Robotics, Conveyor systems, Mechanical, Welding, Machining, Hydraulics/Pneumatics

Must expertise in one trade, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional

Ability to lead others to achieve company goals

Experience creating & maintaining a positive atmosphere in a collaborative work team.

PLC and Robot programming skills is a benefit

Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Essential Physical Demands

Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day

Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain

Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs

Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts

Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day

Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures

Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing

Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines

Expected Compensation $32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
