General Description We are looking for an Inventory Control Manager who is detail‑oriented, exceptionally organized, able to manage complex systems and has experience implementing inventory control processes. This candidate will have experience managing a team that is responsible for inventories at various sites as well as experience advising senior level management on inventory issues. In addition, they will have excellent communication, math, analytical and the relevant computer software skills. The ideal candidate will also be able to work flexible hours as needed to support international sites and have experience in building strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

Oversee efficient inventory management program for sites in US and Europe as needed

Oversee, coordinate, and direct inventory team of 2‑3 employees to ensure timely completion of work to meet demands of the business

Evaluate and recommend changes in inventory control methods, processes, and procedures analyzing trends and inefficiencies

Develop and document proper inventory process, including SOPs and ensure processes are followed by all locations

Continuously monitor and track inventory, managing inventory documentation ensuring stock is available to meet customer demand and maintaining proper stock levels

Analyze and resolve inventory control issues as related to inventory discrepancies

Ensures complete accuracy and integrity of inventory on hand in warehouses and ERP inventory system

Responsible for proper management of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) inventory system ie: NetSuite

Oversees the auditing and inspection of physical inventory on a monthly basis. Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies

Performs root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and provides recommendations of processes to correct the efficient management of inventory

Provides inventory reporting and insights into management of inventories, stock turns, fast‑ and slow‑moving components, across raw material, components, finished goods across multiple locations including 3rd‑party suppliers

Ensures accurate records of goods received, transferred and outbound shipments made and documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly

Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

A combination of education and experience may be considered

Managerial experience

Other Skills

Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) required, NetSuite preferred

Highly organized with strong time‑management and project‑management skills

Knowledge of Google Docs applications and Microsoft Suite

Related work experience in the consumer goods a plus

Experience working in a fast‑paced environment

Desire to be proactive, collaborative and create a positive experience for others

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time
