Material Handler Reliable and detail‑oriented Material Handlers will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the manufacturing and warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is essential in ensuring that materials are properly stocked, organized, and ready for production or shipment.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently move materials, products, and supplies throughout the building using manual handling or equipment (e.g., lift, pallet jacks).

Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing materials; ensure all items are properly labeled, tracked, and stored in their correct locations to maintain an organized warehouse.

Replenish component kanbans throughout the day to enable the production team to stay on track for target completions.

Pick parts for kits being put to the production line per work order pick list.

Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Accurately pick and pack materials or products based on customer orders, work orders, or production schedules; ensure the correct quantities and products are prepared for shipment or use.

Implement inventory control practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out), to ensure materials are used or shipped in the appropriate order and minimize waste.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment; operate equipment safely and keep the warehouse free of hazards.

Maintain accurate records of materials received, moved, and shipped; keep all inventory logs up to date and report discrepancies or issues.

Work with other team members, including warehouse staff and production departments, to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.

Other related tasks as required to fulfill the needs of the business.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or similar role preferred but not required.

Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to obtain certification if necessary.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to material handling.

Ability to work in various warehouse conditions, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

What We Offer The pay range for this position is $24.27 – $30.48 per hour.
