Shipping Clerk

We are currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Dallas, Texas operation.
Responsibilities
Checks in Drivers; looks up shipments provided by drivers and directs them to the appropriate dock doors for unloading of product.
Verifies BOL(s) and manifest paperwork for inbound shipments to determine if all the freight was received or if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
Ensures proper identification and labeling of freight as it is received.
Responsible for producing ASN files for inbound and outbound shipments.
Answers incoming calls from drivers and gives directions to the facility.
Manages emails between the customer and carriers.
Responsible for keeping a daily on hand report.
Qualifications
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail, quick problem solver.
Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality are a must.
Salary $17.00 per hour
