Job Summary
The primary role of the Quality Control Inspector is to act on behalf of the Cub Crafters Quality organization to enable the success of the airplane manufacturing teams in all activities. The inspector works independently or with peers and management from all departments to achieve quality objectives.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
Perform incoming, first article, in‑process and final inspections of materials, detail parts, sub‑assemblies and installations.
Document and record nonconformance’s in support of the MRB process.
Contribute to audit and corrective/preventative action activities.
Success Indicators
Document and maintain detailed, accurate and up to date inspection forms.
Foster good working relationships with all teammates.
Demonstrate continuous learning and self‑improvement in all job functions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and quality management software.
Qualifications
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong technical, analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Enjoys the challenge and success of continuous improvement, high‑activity, high‑pace and working independently.
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
Experience performing Quality System functions under an FAA Production Certificate or Type Certificate.
Holder of any FAA certification (Pilot, Remote Pilot, Mechanic including Military equivalencies, etc.).
Compensation Pay is DOE: $18.00 to $24.00.
