Job Summary
The School of Theatre at Florida State University is seeking a creative and service‑oriented professional to serve as the
Fine Arts Ticket Office Manager . This full‑time staff role supports ticketing for Fine Arts performances and other client events within a dynamic arts environment.
Location Tallahassee, FL
Employment Type Full‑time; hybrid remote/in‑person work schedule.
Salary Low‑mid $50,000s, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Plan, administer, review, and evaluate all Ticket Office activities to ensure excellent service for the university and community.
Oversee daily operations, serve as a consultant to campus partners and constituents, and maximize the computerized ticketing system.
Hire, train, and supervise sales staff, house managers, and ushers.
Manage procedures for processing ticket orders and patron data.
Issue timely sales and attendance reports, and ensure accurate event settlements and financial transfers.
Develop and monitor the FATO’s annual operating budget.
Support fundraising and marketing timelines.
Provide policy guidance for on‑ and off‑campus point‑of‑sale outlets.
Evaluate ticketing technology, ensure compliance with industry and FSU PCI standards.
Collaborate with vendors and technical support.
