Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift – Houston, IL
Pay:
$66,000 – $70,000 per year (base). Shift: 1 PM–11 PM, Monday‑Thursday, with occasional overtime on Friday or Saturday.
Overview The Production Supervisor leads a team of production workers to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing of high‑quality food products according to schedule and quality standards.
What You'll Do
Establish and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly objectives to employees.
Manage workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Guide and coach employees, monitoring productivity.
Verify production output against specifications.
Prepare performance and progress reports for senior management.
Identify efficiency issues and propose improvements.
Train new employees on machinery use and safety procedures.
Enforce safety guidelines and company standards.
Verify payroll time and attendance daily.
Oversee sanitation and chemical usage.
Investigate incidents and accidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
At least 2 years experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Capacity to maintain scheduled line efficiencies.
Strong organizational, leadership, and results‑driven skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated with efficient problem‑solving abilities.
High‑school diploma.
