Responsibilities
Lead and help supervise direct reports in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.
Maintain optimal staffing levels, partnering with Human Resources for recruitment, staff development, and retention strategies.
Manage performance, handle complaints, and resolve issues, fostering a positive work environment.
Uphold superior customer service standards, ensuring prompt, courteous handling of customer inquiries.
Oversee sales‑related paperwork and inventory management.
Collaborate with outside sales representatives, supporting their efforts and identifying sales leads.
Support the Branch Manager in operations, profitability, appearance, cleanliness, and customer service.
Utilize TRIPS for daily shipments and coordinate preventative maintenance for company vehicles.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Business, Management, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability in personnel management.
Retail experience focused on customer service and sales improvement.
Industry experience in welding/safety supply is a plus.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrated data entry skills.
SAP knowledge is advantageous.
