· Complete intake, screening, and assessment processes within the designated timeframes set by regulatory agency standards.
· Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect client needs and demonstrate progress based on assessment information.
· Participate in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings, providing relevant feedback on cases.
· Document services delivered in accordance with agency and regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate records.
· Assist clients during their transition process, including completing necessary correspondence such as transition summaries and plans.
· Conduct group counseling, education sessions, and individual therapy focused on overcoming substance use challenges.
· Demonstrate interest in the long-term and short-term objectives of the organization while handling crisis situations as they arise.
· Represent the agency professionally within the community and maintain positive relationships with clients and referral sources.
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.**Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:**
· Missouri: Master's or bachelor's degree (non-licensed) in a human services field, and/or be credentialed to provide services within scope of practice.
· Hold credentials as a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (MCB).
· Kansas: Hold credentials as defined by the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board (BSRB), including Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC).
· Candidates must be willing to obtain additional credentials in other states as necessary and are comfortable providing telehealth services.**Additional Qualifications:**
· Successful completion of background checks, including criminal records and driving history, is required.
· Current driver's license in the state of residency, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance are necessary.
· Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment and fulfillment of all training requirements, including Relias, both at the start and annually thereafter.
· Certification in First Aid and CPR is required within the first three months of employment.
· Achievement of 50 hours of training annually (Missouri only) and completion of specific behavioral management training within the first 30 days of employment, if applicable.**Physical Requirements:**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, and communicate effectively.
