Construction Attorney
Hinckley Allen is seeking a senior attorney to join a team representing construction clients across the United States.
Overview Represent construction clients in all facets of their businesses – from bid protests, claim preparation and presentation, negotiations, to mediations, litigation, and appeals.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, manage, and monitor significant complex disputes and litigation matters on a national basis.
Engage in risk management of potential claims and develop litigation and resolution strategies.
Report to clients, manage local counsel, experts, and collaborate with multiple entities.
Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for arbitrations, mediations, and trial.
Experience with e‑discovery.
Experience litigating various types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes, and breach of contract claims.
Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills, along with an excellent academic record.
Highly motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a larger team.
