Barry’s is the Best Workout in the World™® founded in West Hollywood in 1998. It provides an immersive, high‑intensity, one‑hour workout that alternates between weights and treadmill running, focusing each day on a different muscle group to achieve real results and prevent injuries. The program tones muscle, maximizes fat loss, and spikes the metabolism for up to 48 hours after class. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Barry’s studios and corporate offices.
About The Role Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry’s studios. They are well‑versed in all aspects of our business and comply with company policies, procedures and directives. Client Specialists play a key role in developing lasting client relationships through superior hospitality, assisting clients with class selections, bookings, and questions; maintaining a clean studio; managing FuelBar orders; and handling merchandise purchases. They are excellent communicators and positive brand ambassadors, conveying memorable experiences and passion for Barry’s to each client interaction.
What You’ll Do Front Desk Responsibilities
Provide client experience and hospitality, ensuring guests are warmly welcomed and assisted.
Build personalized experiences with the goal of positively impacting sales and service.
Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a memorable experience consistent with Barry’s brand.
Develop constructive working relationships with clients and staff.
Communicate with supervisors and peers by phone, email, text, or in person in a timely manner.
Deliver first‑class client experience at all times.
Assist in studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep as needed.
Guide clients on studio promotions, membership discounts, and special events.
Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations.
Participate in all relevant training and development programs.
Maintain flexibility with schedule, working weekends, holidays, morning or night shifts to meet minimum availability requirements.
Fuel Bar Responsibilities
Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service at the Fuel Bar.
Handle pre‑orders and on‑the‑spot orders customized to each client’s needs.
Assist clients with product selection.
Complete orders promptly using a POS transaction system.
Keep the fuel bar area clean and sanitized.
Follow safety, food‑handling, and sanitation procedures per local, state, and federal regulations.
Rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and tables, monitoring spoilage.
Prepare fuel bar goods following company recipes.
Facility Maintenance
Prepare studio spaces by cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors, and wiping mirrors.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining locker rooms to brand standard.
Conduct regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas.
Perform small studio repairs when appropriate.
Provide laundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towels.
Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists.
Customer Service
Ensure all existing and new clients receive top‑level hospitality.
Maintain client database and use information to increase client contact.
Attend community social functions to generate new business.
Invite current and prospective clients to in‑studio events and use curated clienteling tools.
Qualifications
Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Ability to work full‑time or part‑time schedules.
Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoyment of social interaction.
Enthusiasm for the studio and the job.
Patient, courteous, and empathetic listening skills.
Can‑do attitude and cooperative team culture focus.
Prioritization and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional cleaning skills and understanding of sanitary standards.

Pay Range $17.87 – $17.87 USD per hour (Los Angeles)
