About The Role The Litigation Docket Coordinator works under general direction to calendar dates generated from court documents, assist with firm-wide court filings, and monitor and interpret court and agency rules. The Litigation Docket Coordinator performs additional duties as assigned by the Litigation Docket Manager and ensures that client service and satisfaction are achieved in all aspects of the role.
Calendar / Rules
Calendar deadlines from court documents using the automated docketing system.
Apply and communicate state, federal, and agency rules.
Ensure accurate and consistent calendar entries.
Assist with weekly firmwide calendar reports.
Monitor and share updates to court and agency rules.
Court Services
Electronically file documents in state and federal courts.
Review documents for court compliance.
Provide guidance on electronic filing procedures.
Coordinate third‑party service vendors for filings and related tasks.
Conduct procedural research across jurisdictions.
Professional Development
Stay current on litigation docketing trends.
Maintain proficiency in relevant technology.
Contribute to projects that enhance service delivery.
Client Service, Confidentiality, and Safety
Model the Firm’s Client Service Principles.
Protect confidential information per Firm policy.
Follow Firm and department safety practices.
About You
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent education and calendaring experience.
Minimum four years of litigation docketing experience; CompuLaw or similar systems preferred.
Knowledge of California and Federal civil procedure rules; electronic filing experience preferred.
Able to manage assignments independently and make sound decisions.
Highly accurate, detail‑oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office and related applications.
Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
Performs well under pressure, meets competing deadlines, and responds promptly to requests.
Reliable team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues at all levels.

San Francisco, Palo Alto salary range: $70k to $98k
Los Angeles, San Diego salary range: $67k to $93k
