Job Title: Muse (Sales Associate) Primary Purpose The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to provide an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Kate Spade brand and drives sales growth.
Responsibilities
Give our guests the warmest welcome, always exuding confidence and proper etiquette.
Able to develop long‑term relationships with guests by asking engaging questions and suggesting outreach event ideas.
Dance the Muse moves and exhibit style and brand storytelling.
Demonstrate teamwork, give and receive honest and genuine feedback, and celebrate fellow Muses’ successes.
Communicate the Kate Spade New York aesthetic, using product knowledge to connect with guests.
Lead and inspire with impeccable style, consistently presenting the best look.
Spot and discuss product highlights, ensuring the stockroom and shop remain spotless.
Understand the product landscape across all merchandise categories.
Multitask efficiently with operational tasks, cleaning, and POS transactions, converting every moment into opportunity.
Share ideas and feedback with the team.
Qualifications
Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
Proactive ability to multitask and prioritize.
Works well in a team environment.
College degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
Available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to safely lift boxes up to 40 pounds.
Comfortable climbing ladders.
