The Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to lead our storeroom and receiving operations at the Twin Falls, Idaho facility. This position reports to the Facility Procurement Manager and is responsible for optimizing inventory levels, supervising a dedicated team, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials to keep our production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of the inventory tracking system and control processes; lead continuous improvement and best practice implementation
Supervise, coach, and evaluate storeroom and receiving personnel in daily operations
Analyze, troubleshoot, and report on inventory activities, variances, and trends
Train team members and establish standardized procedures for effective inventory control
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
Manage departmental expenses within budgetary guidelines and drive cost-saving initiatives
Apply the progressive disciplinary process, including counseling and formal warnings, to maintain high performance
Monitor inventory levels, recommend adjustments, and lead disposition of surplus or obsolete parts
Enforce high housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment
Oversee stock replenishment and requisition review in coordination with the Procurement team
Liaise with other departments and management on inventory-related issues
Provide backup support to the Facility Purchasing Manager as needed
Perform other related duties to support facility operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory control operations with supervisory responsibility
APICS or ISM certification preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency with inventory tracking and ERP systems; JDE experience is a plus
Ability to understand and implement written procedures, safety requirements, and company policies
