Peer Support Specialist Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona, providing residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary The Peer Support Specialists (PSS) assigned to PCMH/OTP Community-Based Services will provide one-on-one support and day-to-day problem-solving to facilitate normalization and reintegration into the community. They use best practices of assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support to engage with members in the community and the facility. They embrace the recovery philosophy and promote a safe and inclusive recovery environment for clients.

Skills / Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in Behavioral Health and/or Substance Abuse field required.

Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.

Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).

Clear 39‑month Motor Vehicle Record.

Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or ability to obtain a CPSS certification within 90 days of hire.

Addiction and Substance Use Disorders certification preferred.

Must have Fingerprint Clearance Card.
