How You’ll Make an Impact As an Information Coordinator you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll serve as a recovery partner liaison for clinical recovery partners, acting as quality contact for internal and external stakeholders. You obtain and perform initial review of donor chart documents and production-related information to ensure completeness, accuracy, quality, and compliance with FDA regulations, AATB standards, and LifeNet Health SOP. You coordinate the daily flow of donor charts to ensure timely completion of review and approvals, and assist with new hire onboarding, special projects, and process improvement initiatives when needed.
What You’ll Do
Compliance: Compile and prepare donor chart documents—including recovery documentation, laboratory analysis, medical/hospital records, intake/output/blood bank records, and/or medical examiner reports; determine readiness of the record for progression; review documentation for accuracy and completeness; provide accurate and timely documentation and data verification in donor charts and software systems; initiate nonconformances.
Communication: Use courteous, timely, appropriate, and effective communication methods for both internal and external customers; request, obtain, and track donor chart documents and information from stakeholders; coordinate the daily flow of donor chart documents to the next step of the review process; work closely with other QA staff members, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Continuous Improvement: Use LEAN principles to identify mechanisms to strengthen and improve process controls related to donor chart review; participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
Two (2) years of experience (with high school diploma) with patient medical records and medical terminology; data entry experience within a healthcare or similar highly regulated industry.
Zero (0) years of experience with associate or other advanced degree.
Preferred Experience / Skills / Certifications
Associate degree or higher in Biological Sciences or related field.
One (1) year experience in tissue banking.

Compensation Salary Range: $16.83 – $22.44 per hour. Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $16.83 hourly (entry level) to $22.44 hourly (experienced). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
