Why should you join the PMO? As a Project Coordinator, you will be working on exciting infrastructure‑driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Our global infrastructure planning and deployment services deliver thousands of projects each year. From employing our methodologies at hundreds of sites to leveraging complete enterprise design services, customers trust our infrastructure experts to assess the technology they have today and design the solutions they need for tomorrow. The Project Coordinator is responsible for independently coordinating small projects and/or phases of a larger project. The Project Coordinator should be able to work with seasoned Project Management and Engineering professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Track documentation deliverables for multiple small projects

Assist with the identification of risk and mitigation planning for all assigned projects

Create schedules using a designated Project Management tool

Create regular status reports and communications for identified stakeholders and resources per the communications plan

Gather documentation from the customer

Assist with or manage the oversight of all aspects of project life cycle to include initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing; taking project through final implementation

Plan, estimate, and control costs and resources for assigned projects, ensuring on‑budget delivery

Completely own and manage smaller‑sized projects, including our Strategic Sourcing engagements

Contribute to the scope of assigned projects, ensuring that all the work that has been budgeted and scoped can be delivered

Must be familiar with project scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively assist in coordinating the activities of the team

Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solutions within scope and relative to desired objectives

Follow best practices and ensure that all validation and quality requirements are met and documented

Maintain Project Management standard best practices and methodologies to drive efficiency and consistency among projects

Document project risks, assumptions, and constraints and aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds designed to mitigate project risk events

Monitor status of all identified risks to minimize the impact of the risks on the project

Financial management of project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts and costs are measured, tracked, and reported for project success

Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identify, and quantify variances and perform corrective actions with transparency to all stakeholders

Document measurement criteria for success with the help of Project Managers or other Leads

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs

Ensures that all issues are captured and resolved and that resolutions are documented and communicated

Actively participates in project meetings and leads small meetings if necessary.

Provides input regularly for status reports including portfolio reviews.

Update and maintain project dashboards

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, related field or equivalent experience

A minimum of two years’ experience in a Professional Services or similar environment, participating in complex projects and/or the desire to grow into a Project Management career are preferred

Exposure to technology projects and project management

Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience with Smartsheet workspace setup and support

Experience with developing and maintaining Excel pivot tables

Excellent understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports

Experience in effectively influencing & leading personnel

Basic knowledge and understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle

Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines

Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail

Ability to communicate well with customers and co‑workers (written, verbal, and presentation)

Ability to write business reports in a well‑organized manner

Ability to work well with multiple teams

Strong problem solving skills

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $51,600.00 to $64,500.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
