Act as the primary operational point of contact for BaaS partners and internal teams, managing complex operational, technical, and payment inquiries and ensuring SLA compliance. Serve as escalation point for all complex operational issues, including payment exceptions, returns, recalls, and treasury service issues. Work cross‑functionally with Embedded Finance, Risk/Compliance, Client Services, Product, and external partners to deliver banking products such as deposits, payments, cards, treasury services. Analyze workflows and performance data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements for greater efficiency. Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for all BaaS operational processes, ensuring alignment with Reg E, NACHA, and other applicable frameworks. Assist in new BaaS program implementation, testing, and operational readiness for partner launches. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Experience in banking or financial services operations, specifically in the BaaS/Embedded Finance space. Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred. Proficiency with customer service software such as Zendesk (ticket management, workflow automation, reporting). Experience with core banking systems and operational software (e.g., FIS, IBS, Increase, Treasury Prime, Wrike) preferred. Strong data‑driven operational monitoring skills and ability to solve complex payment processing issues. About Grasshopper Bank
