Summary/Objectives
Business Development Representative (Inbound)
plays a critical role in the success of isolved's demand generation engine. This role is responsible for engaging inbound leads and high‑intent prospects to create qualified pipeline opportunities for the sales organization. Representatives serve as the first point of contact for potential customers, using strong research and communication skills to uncover needs, build trust, and schedule discovery meetings. This position offers excellent exposure to sales strategy, technology tools, and career development pathways within one of the fastest‑growing teams in the company.
Core Job Duties
Engage prospective customers from inbound leads, intent signals, and marketing programs within defined service levels
Conduct research and apply prospecting strategies to personalize outreach and maintain ongoing nurture efforts
Identify business needs, challenges, and fit for isolved products and services through structured discovery conversations
Schedule high‑quality discovery meetings and ensure a seamless handoff to sales representatives
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment across lead qualification, funnel progression, and feedback loops
Contribute insights to help improve lead quality, conversion metrics, and campaign effectiveness
Support pipeline growth by identifying opportunities for new campaigns, messages, or outreach channels
Build and maintain a strong network of relationships within the assigned market or territory
Job Complexity Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
Interaction Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Supervision Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Routine assignments are performed independently unless problems occur.
Experience Typically requires a minimum of 3–6 years of related experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, including phone, writing, and active listening
Team‑oriented with a competitive drive and desire to win collaboratively
Self‑motivated with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
Resilient and persistent, with a positive approach to overcoming challenges
Comfort with change and a strong sense of accountability for results
Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required Yes, up to 5% domestic travel may be required.
Work Authorization Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
