Responsibilities

Leads collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to develop quality strategy and programs.

Drives quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.

Provides expertise in production process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for key quality improvements.

Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Develops and implements Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.

Develops organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving and directs implementation.

Train site personnel in quality concepts, changes in process, improvement projects, and other related topics.

Assist in the development of Quality procedures and processes to improve product quality, increase departmental efficiency, reduce/eliminate inefficient processes.

Ability to measure, analyze and assess complex processes.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Understanding of Root Cause and Correction Action Management.

Understanding of Failure Modes & Effect Analysis, Process Flow Diagrams, and/or Control and Reaction Plans.

Qualifications We Prefer

Advanced Degree in a related field.

Experience in manufacturing in aerospace, aviation, or automotive industry.

Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).

Experience with Lean management tools.

Experience in measuring and reporting key quality characteristics and objectives including PPM, COPQ, product testing, etc.

Experience documenting with MES/SAP or similar tool as well as experience creating Corrective Action Reports.

CMM experience.
