Position Summary We are seeking an organized, proactive, and people-focused Office Operations & Events Coordinator to support the daily operations and culture of Elmington Construction. This role is responsible for managing essential office functions, coordinating company and project events, and supporting other employee engagement initiatives across the organization.
The Office Operations & Events Coordinator will serve as a central resource for Elmington Construction’s corporate teams and project teams, ensuring smooth operations, professional representation of the company, and consistent execution of events and recognition programs. This position works closely with the Operations Manager and other business partners to deliver a welcoming, efficient, and engaging workplace experience.

Experience 2+ years of experience in administrative support, office management, event coordination, or employee engagement roles
Prior experience in construction or a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is a plus.
Essential Job Functions
General Administration
Serves as a central administrative support resource for Elmington Construction’s corporate teams and project teams
Acts as a primary administrative support partner to corporate leadership, including Vice Presidents
Manages daily office operations, including supplies, mail, & workspace organization
Runs misc. errands
Greets visitors, coordinates client and team meetings, and ensures professional representation of Elmington Construction
Manages daily lunch coordination for executives & support lunch arrangements for other meetings as needed
Manages post-meeting hospitality, including meal cleanup and resetting rooms for continued use
Supports cross-functional teams with ad hoc administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations
Processes notarizations for company documents
Coordinates travel arrangements & meeting logistics
Manages offsite storage for EC related materials
Event Planning & Employee Engagement
Coordinates logistics for events including venues, catering, scheduling, equipment, décor, communications, and budget
Assists with project groundbreakings, topping outs, and related project events
Coordinates regional events, such as Christmas parties
Collaborates with the Corporate Event Planner to coordinate and provide on-site support for company-wide events, including Summit (our annual company celebration) and owner/client events
Coordinates employee birthday recognition, including posting to the intranet and distributing small digital gifts
Coordinates employee recognition programs, milestone acknowledgements, and special initiatives
Oversees construction swag procurement and distribution to support employee engagement
Steps in where needed to assist with additional requests from Operations team
Performs additional responsibilities and assignments as directed by the Operations Manager
