On‑site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of Caterpillar (CAT) Power Generation equipment and related systems. Work independently from a fully equipped Ohio CAT service truck. Service and perform: CAT diesel and gas generators (5 KW to 3 MW) Switchgear and ATS systems Control panels and electrical distribution systems Load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance. Use diagnostic tools (e.g., CAT ET, SIS, and other computer‑based diagnostic tools/software) for troubleshooting. Provide exceptional customer service and technical support. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards. Competencies
Experience with CAT, Cummins, Generac, Kohler, or Detroit Diesel generator systems. Familiarity with switchgear brands like Russelectric, Lakeshore, or Asco. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and control diagrams. Military or field‑based experience in equipment diagnostics and repair is highly valued. Comfortable working independently in outdoor environments. Must own and safely use personal mechanic’s tools. High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two years of technical education focused on diesel or power generation systems, plus at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience repairing diesel engines, generators, and industrial equipment. Employee Benefits

Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs; 50 lb pull. Repetitive motions: frequent hand, wrist, and finger movements. Normal dexterity. Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Noise level: usually quiet in office settings, moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
