Key Responsibilities Safety
Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 through eye‑on, one‑on‑one, or 15/30 minute checks
Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution
Relationships
Establish collaborative, trust‑based relationships via consistent and meaningful communication
Foster partnership with individuals served, community, and other professionals
Activities & Daily Living Skills
Build effective skills for problem‑solving, communication, and independence
Assist with social and leisure interests (e.g., transport to stores, concerts, movies, in‑house events)
Support daily living activities: transportation, dressing, bathing, grooming, restroom assistance, cooking
Health
Monitor vitals and health conditions
Promote positive behavior
Attend medical appointments and relay accurate information to the care team
Assist in implementation of medical, behavioral, and clinical care plans; provide accurate, timely documentation
Community
Connect individuals served with community opportunities to build relationships
Support community participation, volunteering, career goals, and educational interests
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Valid Michigan driver’s license
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Commitment to scheduled shifts, duties, and performance expectations
Basic computer skills
