Responsibilities Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for an Engineer to join our dynamic Diagnostics Group. The qualified candidate will have relevant experience acquiring Structural Diagnostics business with either an industrial or commercial structure focus, and Project Management experience is required. The Engineer will manage the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office, focusing on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensic‑related work. He/she will also assist in marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group, and should have experience and interest in water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering work. A high energy level, self‑motivation, strong teamwork, technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs are essential.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structures preferred
3 to 5+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
Professional Engineer License in the State of home office
Ability to proactively communicate with clients
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AutoCAD, Revit)
Structural engineering software (SAP, ETABS, RAM Concept)
Strong technical, written and verbal communication
Ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines
Ability to travel on short notice
Strong customer service focus
