What You'll Do
Attend training regarding applicable equipment
Perform additional duties as needed
Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
Cross‑train on multiple machines
Operate rebar fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders, forging equipment, welders, etc.
What You'll Need
Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
Able and willing to cross‑train as required
Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
Ability to work as a team player in a fast‑paced environment, paying attention to detail and finding root causes for issues
Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
Able to work overtime as business requires
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, and work outside under all weather conditions when needed
Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals
Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form, are necessary to be successful in this role
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a heavy industrial environment preferred but not required
Must possess a work ethic and punctuality
Stand for long periods of time
Your Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
