New opportunity with a leading innovator in Solar and Battery Storage Technology, currently expanding their Electrical team in California.
They’re hiring an
Electrician
to install, maintain, and repair solar electrical systems and battery storage in residential buildings, as well as hospital‑grade MRI facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective operation.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with strong electrical expertise who enjoys troubleshooting, mentoring apprentices, and contributing to the clean energy transition.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Install electrical systems (120/208 volt, 480 volt, fire alarm, and others) for hospital‑grade MRI buildings
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems in residential homes
Conduct routine maintenance, repair, or replacement of solar electrical components or systems
Assess electrical systems and suggest/implement necessary updates and modifications
Follow electrical code, state, and local building regulations to ensure compliance
Oversee and mentor Apprentices on projects
Gain proficiency in solar, storage, energy management, and emerging technologies (Tesla, Generac, Enphase, etc.)
Manage job closeout procedures including inspections, write‑ups, and return of unused materials
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience working as an Electrician
Strong understanding of NEC requirements for hospital installations
Professionalism and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, analytical, organizational, interpersonal)
Experience working with, leading, and coaching in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, climbing frequently
Working in very bright or very dim lighting conditions occasionally
Working in various weather conditions (hot and cold) regularly
Exposure to loud or distracting sounds occasionally
Working near welding, grinding, and heavy equipment
Rate & Location:
Competitive hourly rate - includes full benefits + 401(k)
6‑12 month initial contract with strong potential for extension
California region - field‑based role
