Construction Inspector – Aviation
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. invites you to apply for the Construction Inspector – Aviation role.
Pay Base pay range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year.
Location Nashville, TN.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides construction management services on multiple or complex projects at an international airport facility.
Provides ongoing construction inspection, quality assurance, and performs specialty inspections.
Reviews contractor’s work, inspects delivered materials, and verifies certifications.
Ensures compliance with approved construction documents, specifications and contract requirements.
Records daily observations and reports noncompliance.
Coordinates and verifies field testing of materials.
Reviews and approves pay applications.
Reviews contractor’s quality control and safety manuals and procedures.
Performs daily safety inspections.
Reviews construction plans and specifications.
Reviews contractor submittals for constructability and compliance.
Education & Experience
High school diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 8 years of construction inspection experience.
Associate degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, plus 6 years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
8+ years of experience in construction inspection, materials testing, and observation in the transportation field.
State certifications in Materials Testing preferred, along with safety certifications.
Experience with airport construction projects.
