Icon Boiler is a leading boiler installer and service provider in the Southeast seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team.
Responsibilities
Perform welding (TIG, MIG, Stick) and fit‑up tasks.
Conduct oxygen cutting, brazing, and pipe fitting for boilers.
Prepare boilers for inspection and carry out mechanical installations.
Safely remove and replace tubes, ensuring accurate refractory repair.
Collaborate with quality control, service coordinator, and sales teams.
Keep records, prepare service reports, and stay compliant with company policies.
Participate in factory training and maintain certification under Icon Boiler’s code program.
Troubleshoot boilers, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
Support ASME and NBIC standards in repairs on boilers and pressure vessels.
Provide customer‑centric support and continuously expand knowledge.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of relevant experience in boiler service, repair, or mechanical operations.
Certified 6G welding position (ASME certification desirable).
Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Basic computer and DOT physical skills.
Strong reasoning, problem solving, and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and proof of US employment eligibility.
Willing to pass drug screening and DOT physical.
