Key aspects of this role:
Prepare business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of the business
Supervise employees in preparing financial reports and budgets
Develop and lead financial strategies and initiatives that help drive the Company's revenue and profitability growth.
Oversee the financial close and reporting processes.
Ensure financial analysis and reporting supports the requirements and needs of the Senior Leadership team.
Work closely with outside auditors to establish a partnership that ensures the Company is fully compliant with US GAAP and standard accounting practices.
Identify opportunities to improve current processes and procedures and ensure financial data is accurate and timely so that Senior Leadership can make informed business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA are required
Minimum of ten (10) years of hands on accounting experience with at least four (4) years in a controllership position.
Prefer a mix of both public and corporate accounting experience.
Detailed working knowledge of GAAP requirements.
Experience interacting and communicating with all levels in the organization including and delivering financial and strategic insights.
Exceptional managerial and leadership skills with the highest level of integrity.
