My client is a leading investment management firm serving Ultra High Net Worth individuals across Latin America with offices in Aventura. They are seeking an Investment Operations Associate to support portfolio management and client operations. This role sits at the intersection of investments, operations, and client service, ensuring seamless execution and a high-touch experience for UHNW clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within the investment management space. What you’ll do:
Support Portfolio Managers with daily investment and operational activities Coordinate with custodians, banks, and external partners across LATAM and the U.S. Assist with account openings, documentation, and ongoing client maintenance Review fund documentation, subscription materials, and due diligence requests Resolve trade, cash, and reconciliation issues in a timely and accurate manner Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance procedures Partner with Operations, Accounting, and Client Service teams to deliver best-in‑class support What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred) 2–5+ years of experience in investment operations, wealth management, or financial services Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) Experience working with UHNW or international clients is a strong plus Why this role:
