Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist | Finance & Accounting l Nashville, TN
This position will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all sales tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with tax filings, and the ability to work collaboratively in a corporate office setting based in west Nashville.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file state and local sales tax returns accurately and on time (6 states).
Monitor and reconcile sales tax accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Research tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance with changing requirements.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Respond to tax notices and inquiries from state and local agencies.
Maintain organized tax records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in sales tax accounting or similar tax compliance role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems - SAGE/MAS100.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with multi‑state sales tax compliance.
Knowledge of tax software and reporting tools.
Familiarity with GAAP and corporate tax principles.
Onsite/full time position located in west Nashville.
Pay $55-60,000/yr
