Associate Field Engineer - Remote Carrier Climate Solutions Transportation invites applications for the Associate Field Engineer (Remote) position. This role is part of our Fast-Track Field Technician Program, which includes a 2‑week paid training trip to Atlanta, GA, starting January 27, 2026.

About This Role As an Associate Field Engineer, you will commission building automation systems tailored to each customer. The role offers a transition into a full‑time field engineering career, starting with hands‑on troubleshooting and progressing to project delivery. Ideal candidates are recent graduates (2024/2025) of a technical trade school or high schools with a focus in HVAC, Controls, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using Direct Digital Control technology.

Provide effective solutions for system issues.

Deliver turnkey projects for small to mid‑level installations.

Ensure systems operate correctly, including controls, sensors, and software.

Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.

Implement time‑management strategies to maintain customer satisfaction.

Communicate and document project status and details to customers.

Deliver site‑specific training to owners and operators on the complete system.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 ft and lift up to 50 lbs.

Valid, current driver’s license; insurable by the company.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

75% travel (domestic or international).

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree, certificate, or diploma in HVAC, Controls, or a related field.

Interest in building automation and HVAC controls.

Familiarity with building automation software such as WebCTRL.

Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.

The annual salary for this position is between $44,250 and $61,750, based on experience, education, and qualifications. Short‑term cash incentives may also be earned under the plan.
