Your Role At MilliporeSigma, the Manufacturing Technician 4 will mix and process various biological compounds according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group.
Shift details: Monday-Thursday 10:00pm-8:30am (4x10 hour shifts)
Training will be on 1st shift for the first 6 weeks. Slight accommodations are negotiable.
Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies.
Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team.
Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.
Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Attributes
Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
Utilize close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and adjust focus.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an air helmet, mask, safety shoes, rubber apron, protective gloves, and/or chemical resistant suit.
Who You Are Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of work experience in a GMP life science manufacturing environment.
OR
Associate’s Degree in any discipline.
1+ year(s) experience in a GMP life science manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline.
Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Troubleshooting skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience with SAP.
Pay Range for this position: $24.00-$41.00 per hour.
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
