How You’ll Contribute Preconstruction Team
Prepare RFQs for selecting MPFP engineering consultants and/or design‑build trade partners.
Develop budgets and cost estimates.
Create strategies for value engineering.
Participate in coordination meetings during the design phase of a project.
Evaluate cost proposals received from trade partners during the bidding process.
Assist with the selection of commissioning agencies.
Assist team members with navigating sustainability and energy code requirements.
Construction Operations Team
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during installation and commissioning phases.
Conduct site inspections and assessments.
Evaluate change requests.
Assist with pre‑installation meetings, quality control, and adherence to contract documents and accepted industry standards.
Engage in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Provide leadership during the commissioning process.
Russell Clients
Identify and coordinate energy company incentives and rebate programs.
Respond to, document, and resolve MPFP related warranty claims.
Collaborate with clients to select the appropriate mechanical systems for their facilities and assist them with understanding the pros and cons of all available options.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems, providing technical support as needed.
Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle cost savings.
Third‑Party Consultants and Design/Build Contractor
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design/build contractors to integrate MPFP systems into building designs.
In‑House Learning and Development for Russell team members
Ideate, develop, and implement educational and training resources to assist team members with expanding their general knowledge of MPFP systems.
Lead a company‑wide MEP focus group.
Conduct both classroom and hands‑on training sessions for team members.
Business Development, Marketing, and Executive Teams
Collaborate with the business development and marketing teams to strengthen the Russell brand and win new clients.
Engage in submitting formal responses to project RFQ’s and participate in client presentations and interviews as needed.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, detailing project progress and system performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum of 10 years of experience in MPFP system design, application, costing and implementation OR equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other engineering tools beneficial.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
