Job Summary As Site Supervisor, you will lead staff, manage operational activities, and ensure product quality and consistency while fostering a Safety‑is‑#1 culture. Your responsibilities include process improvement, inventory and labor management, and safety program enforcement.
Job Responsibilities
Implement process‑improvement methods to maintain continuous, efficient, and profitable production.
Oversee inventory management, labor allocation, production efficiency, and cost controls.
Provide leadership to staff, assess performance, and schedule all operational activities to guarantee quality and consistency.
Ensure workplace safety through implementation, adherence, and enforcement of company safety standards and development programs.
Maintain a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Plan, assign, and direct work while training employees effectively.
Apply excellent multitasking, analytical, and communication skills.
Utilize mechanical knowledge of machines, equipment, and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
Job Requirements
Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and perform tasks requiring extended standing, walking, bending, and climbing, inside and outside, with fall protection equipment.
Capability to work in dusty, hot, cold, or other challenging conditions.
Comfortable sitting for extended periods and climbing in extreme outdoor climates (cold, heat, rain, fog).
Preferred experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing.
Experience with heavy equipment and machinery.
