Job Overview The School of Music is seeking graduate students for the Assistantship Program. Students must be accepted into the Graduate Program. Graduate Assistants work closely with faculty and staff, performing duties such as inventory management, course technology, collaborative chamber and ensemble rehearsals, and performances.
Responsibilities Graduate Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, inventory management, course technology, collaborative chamber and ensemble rehearsals, and performances. Duties will vary depending on the project and/or assigned responsibilities, and may be assigned to professional staff in any department of the University.
Maximum Appointment Maximum appointment is limited to twenty (20) hours per week (50% FTE).
Minimum Qualifications
Must be admitted to a graduate degree program.
Must be in good academic standing.
Be registered full-time for the respective semester (9 semester credit hours during fall and spring; 3 during summer) or meet required credit hours to fulfill degree plan.
Preferred Qualifications None listed.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience.
