Your Part‑Time Controller, LLC

Responsibilities Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non‑profit clients. Key duties include:
Transforming nonprofit client financial departments to support mission fulfillment
Financial reporting and presentation for management and board decision‑making
Implementing improvements to accounting, internal controls, compliance policies, and best practices
Transactional activities: accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition & billing), payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month‑end close, and maintaining workpapers
Analysis, budgeting, forecasting and data visualization
Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting
Preparation for and management of annual audit
Training opportunities for clients and staff
Qualifications
Passionate about working with or supporting nonprofit organizations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
5–7+ years of accounting experience
Preference for remote experience
Ability to independently manage multiple clients and respond promptly
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with multiple general ledger packages, especially QuickBooks, and electronic bill pay systems
Non‑profit accounting, public accounting, or consulting experience is a plus
CPA certification is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications is required
Compensation Hourly rate: $50–$65 per hour for this non‑exempt position.
Total compensation may increase with overtime pay and eligibility for bonuses.
