Agency Deal Administrator – Loan Services – NYC
We’re seeking a dedicated professional with deep knowledge of syndicated deal administration from the agency perspective and substantial experience supporting Loan Administration.
About The Position The Agency Deal Administrator is responsible for timely handling of all Agency transactions and daily workflow related to Loan Administration, including issuance, advising, amending, reporting, billing, document checking, and payments.
The role involves capturing transactions on the Loan IQ Lending platform, analyzing structured finance loan portfolios, performing audits, reconciling interest and fees, reviewing commercial loan terms, resolving discrepancies, preparing spreadsheets, and recommending procedural changes when necessary. Effective communication skills and the ability to address moderate to complex system-related issues are essential.
About The Department The successful candidate will collaborate harmoniously with a team of 7 dedicated professionals under the guidance of a supportive and experienced manager.
Responsibilities
Analyze Credit Documentation and extract the necessary information for deal capture and booking in Lending System.
Process borrowing and payment requests, arrange for funding/break funding, set rates, and renew maturing loan contracts.
Confirm rates and margin changes.
Calculate and bill commitment, unutilized, letter of credit, and agency fees.
Set up and maintain customer records including administrative details and payment instructions (including the collection of original tax forms).
Work with closers and investors on assignment of loans.
Initial set-up and monitoring of Covenant/Compliance Tracking.
Timely distribution of Financial Statements and Compliance Certificates.
Monitor commitment limits and expiration dates.
Monitor daily cash flow and investigate unidentified amounts in suspense account.
Respond promptly to all service requests from clients and investors.
Assist Manager in any special projects as needed.
Train and support new employees.
Direct contact with borrowers and co-lenders.
Qualifications / Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field from an accredited U.S. school (or equivalent).
4+ years of relevant loan agency experience.
Experience / Knowledge
Strong understanding of origination and syndication process.
Proficiency with Loan IQ.
Experience with web-based systems (DebtDomain and Clearpar).
Experience and familiarity with credit agreements and related loan documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong focus on controls, procedures, quality, accuracy, and detail orientation.
Personal Competencies
Self-motivated, confident, and committed to company goals.
Able to use MS-Office with advanced knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Capable of functioning under stressful conditions.
Ability to multi-task.
Flexible and learning capacity to adapt to ongoing changes.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000.
