Job Summary:
Solicit, market and place accounts for Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies in order to meet individual and department production goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, strengthen and expand client relationships through close interaction with clients, producers and other team members
Technical knowledge of all coverage’s services by the team, including D&O, E&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, FI Bond, K&R
Work closely with Account Managers to gain efficiency of the portfolio
Oversee day-to-day processes in all aspects of client’s insurance program cycle, including responsibilities for client preparations, direct client communications, presentations and open items
Works with others to offer creative solutions
Anticipate future needs of clients by monitoring client performance throughout the year
Resolve client relationship tasks including invoicing, claims and other administrative functions
Work collaboratively with others
Negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current marketplace and capabilities of available insurers
Build and maintain strong carrier relationships across all financial lines products
Direct review of applications/submissions and determine thoroughness of information. Request and gather additional information as may be needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
State specific license is required
3 – 7 years' broker experience is required
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Professional in appearance and business conduct with strong customer service
