Universal Banker – Red River Bank Provides personalized banking services to financial institution customers by performing the duties of a Teller and Personal Banker.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Evaluates needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products and services.

Prepares and compiles new customer application and information to open new accounts, ensuring completeness of all account documentation.

Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill, gain additional business, and resolve account disputes and other account activity.

Informs and advises customers of account status or enhancements, and responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding account.

Coordinates and assists back office personnel in resolving credit problems, delinquent payment issues, and other related affairs.

Promotes and cross‑sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirements.

Assists in any other activity needed so that the branch meets customer needs efficiently and generates new business to meet profitability goals.

Performs paying and receiving transactions satisfactorily and efficiently.

Meets teller balancing standards monthly as stated in the Teller Over & Short Policy.

Delivers excellent service to all customers and performs additional duties within the banking center as needed to help colleagues.

Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.

Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.

Enters customers' transactions into the computer to record transactions and issues computer‑generated receipts.

Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.

Explains, promotes, or sells products or services.

Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.

Complies with all applicable banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, and follows Red River Bank policies and procedures. Attends or completes all required training.

Education And/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of five years of banking experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills Excellent computer skills required.

Physical Demands Regularly requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel or crouch. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
