Opportunity Overview I’m working with a mid‑sized litigation boutique that is expanding its insurance coverage and bad faith defense practice. The firm is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of experience handling complex insurance coverage litigation matters. This role is well‑suited for an attorney comfortable managing cases independently while collaborating with a team on high‑level litigation strategy.
Responsibilities
Insurance coverage and bad faith litigation defense experience
Manage files through all stages of litigation
Draft pleadings, briefs, and dispositive motions
Review and analyze insurance policies
Prepare insurance coverage opinions
Handle written discovery and document productions
Prepare for and take/defend depositions
Make court appearances and conduct trial preparation
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Missouri license plus Illinois or Kansas
5+ years of relevant insurance coverage/bad faith defense experience
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Ability to work independently on complex matters
