Job Summary The Retirement Plan Assistant assists the Retirement Plan Services team with administration and client support. Serves as the primary point of contact for marketing and sales support in response to client and employee needs for the group. Manages and schedules appointments with plan administrators/employees and RPS team principals as needed. Maintains internal client file management systems. Responsible for client reporting and troubleshooting any client issues in addition to conducting internal research and benchmarking projects as needed.

Hourly Pay Range $22.79 - $24.96 - $27.63

Job Responsibilities

Retirement Plan Advisory Group reporting and updating: Quarterly reporting for Scorecards, returns analysis, and style box. Periodic QDIA analysis. Available fund updating after approved fund changes. Quarterly fund asset level updates.

Monitors phone and email communication from plan administrators and plan participants for service issues or appointment setting. Documents service issues and escalates to appropriate team members. Schedules participant review meetings and sends confirmation/reminders of meeting times.

Performs data upkeep for CRM management system. Ensures client and service provider contacts and roles remain up to date. Inputs new clients into CRM system and gathers relevant plan information from recordkeepers and service providers.

Quarterly webinar coordination: Assists with the preparation, invitation, and delivery of quarterly webinar series. Circulates invitations, sends plan details, and gathers registrations and attendance numbers. Assists with collateral distribution following presentations. Updates and maintains client contact information.

Additional Accountabilities

Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and completes required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent

Minimum experience required: 2+ Years supporting financial investment teams

Preferred Qualifications

Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)

Experience with retirement plans

Job Competencies

Ability to work independently to complete tasks and extended projects within expected timeframes.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Situational awareness for when to elevate client issues to team members in a timely manner.

Ability to identify personal knowledge gaps and request further instructions when necessary.

Ability to learn new software systems quickly and accurately.
