candidate will have demonstrated design experience for bridges, culverts, and retaining wall structures, along with leadership skills to work and lead within a team environment of engineers and technicians on various types of structural projects. Job duties will include supervision and training of staff in the structural discipline, load rating, shop drawing review, quality control, and communication with project teams and clients. Key Responsibilities
Lead all structural engineering efforts in Tennessee. Oversee structural projects in Tennessee, including traditional and alternative delivery. Collaborate with a large bridge group within the company. Facilitate work sharing across the organization, contributing to over 100 active projects within the structures group. Partner with leadership, business development, and marketing teams to assist in pursuing projects across Tennessee. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee or ability to obtain Tennessee PE within 6 months. 10 – 20 years of progressive bridge/structural design experience. Strong verbal communication and analytical skills. Experience in Microstation, Geopak and/or Open Roads Designer. Experience in structural analysis software such as Conspan, Merlin, Leap Steel, CSI Bridge or other similar bridge design software. Familiar with DOT Design Guidelines and Standards, AASHTO LRFD Design Guidelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Valid driver’s license. Equal Opportunity Employer Seniority level
