Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee and execute day‑to‑day maintenance operations of the Creative Studios and Costuming buildings to ensure the buildings meet the company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall function. Perform skilled duties in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct daily walk‑throughs of facility to note and address maintenance issues and cleanliness of the facility. Report escalated issues to Manager, Theatrical Facilities.
Monitor Maintenance Requests to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner and perform repairs and maintenance as required.
Responsible for tracking maintenance of all facility equipment, including HVAC, elevator, vertical mast lifts, etc. and prepares a preventative maintenance schedule for all internal and external services.
Oversee external vendor scopes and ensure contracts are being adhered to. Obtain quotes and schedule inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance for external vendors and communicate notices to team in advance.
Keep accurate inventory of maintenance and custodial supplies. Submit purchase requests to maintain par levels within budgetary restrictions.
Work with department leadership to continuously evaluate and improve processes and physical spaces.
Maintain awareness of all emergency procedures for facility and assistance as assigned and assume a lead role in emergency situations.
Perform other job‑related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE:
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the following: facilities maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical.
2 years in a supervisor or lead role.
COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
Possess effective time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to change in a composed manner.
Ability to work cooperatively and in a teamwork environment.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
EPA Universal Certification for HVAC systems
OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry Certification
Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) - optional but preferred
Trade school certificate with focus in one or more of the following: facilities maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or equivalent on the job experience.
Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
