Job Overview:
This position is responsible for lubrication, preventative maintenance, and repair of all equipment. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Technical school or Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance OR 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
Strong background in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Machining experience required
Basic computer knowledge
Safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes required on some or all jobs
Good communication skills
Ability to multi‑task
Willingness to work overtime, be on‑call, and work nights and weekends as needed
Electrical background a plus; not required
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings (a plus)
Consistent, dependable attendance; willing to accommodate non‑standard work hours as required
Capable of managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Job Responsibilities
Troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical equipment
Lubrication and preventative maintenance (PM) of mechanical equipment
Assist electronic technician in electrical and electronic duties
Perform welding, machining, and millwright duties
Identify parts and assist Parts Coordinator in requisition and inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment
Assemble, install, and maintain new mechanical equipment; enter work orders in the Maintenance Management System
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
Maintain equipment in good running order; perform route checks and report deficiencies
Maintain a clean, hazard‑free job site; follow GMP and good housekeeping practices
Interact and communicate with Production supervisors and assist on production line when needed
Maintain professional certifications and keep training up to date
Operate maintenance equipment safely; follow LOTO practices
Use hand and power tools effectively; basic knowledge of plant utility systems
Work with minimal supervision; perform daily, weekly, and monthly PM assignments
Have working knowledge of spare parts system and rigging and lifting techniques
Maintain forklift license; basic skills in machining, welding, pipefitting, and fabrication
Adhere to safety procedures including LOTO, confined space, and proper lifting
Work Environment Conditions Manufacturing environment: varying temperatures (cold and hot), loud noise
